Future Development

   To Make Progress with the Times, to be Creative and to Explore the New Models for Sino-Japanese Cooperation
    In order to meet the new demand for the talented persons after China joined in WTO, about how to develop TCMESO under the new situation, the leaders of Education Ministry have come to inspect, investigate and research on TCMESO, and have proposed strategic and constructive suggestions on the school’s development, and tried to study how to make the school’s preparatory education contribute greatly to the Chinese modernization cause and Sino-Japanese friendship. Under the direct leadership of the Education Ministry, TCMESO adheres to make progress with times, to be creative, and adheres to do the two combinations.
    One is to combine the TCMESO’s development with the development of the Chinese cause of going to study overseas; the other is to combine the foreign languages training with the training of ideology politics, to explore new models of development under the new situation.
The Development of Study Overseas
     With the development of the study overseas cause and the reform of the state higher academic educational system, the notion of people’s recognition to the study overseas has been changing continuously. With the liberation of people’s thought, the conceptions of people’s education and intelligent investment are changing continuously, too. With the congruity trend of the world economy, the internationalization of the knowledge structure of the talented persons has been emphasized more and more. To educate international compound talented persons has been one of the most important models for the higher academic schools to train the talents and it has been the inevitable route to cultivate the international talents. This has poured into new chance of survival and new vitality for our country’s study overseas cause, and it constitutes a wider market for us. It also provides a chance of development for the training centers for the students to study overseas.
     Under such a historical background, TCMESO is carrying out the third cause creation. The first cause creation happened at the end of 1970s, during which the TCMESO was established by the great support of the Sino-Japanese state governments and undertook the state’s training task. The second cause creation happened at the end of 1990s,during which on the basis of completing the state’s task, we began to serve the local construction and the talents’ training, and to undertake the training task for the personnel of self-payment. The third cause creation happens now, which focuses on how to bring into play more greatly in sending students to go overseas and training different kinds of students to study in Japan, and on the close combination of single training and the sending students studying in Japan, thus to create a new training model of “Training-Sending” as one system of the two links.
Ideology Politics Training
    The school adheres to the educational policy to focus on the foreign language training. Meanwhile, it pays more attention to the training of the students’ ideology. We organize all kinds of reports on some special topics, carry out the patriotic education to the students, the education about the situation and tasks and the education of historical mission for the students to study overseas. Meanwhile, the school organizes colorful entertainment and sports activities to enrich the students’ cultural life in their spare time.
     Through the education and the training in TCMESO, the majority of the students meet the demand of studying overseas in grasping the language. They also have great improvement on the knowledge of international situations and the national conditions. They hope to return to the country on time after they finish their studies in order to make some contributions to the national modernization construction cause and to the cause of Sino-Japanese long-term peace and friendship, and to the cause of the two state cultural and educational exchanges.
   Through the 23 years development and construction, under the Chinese and Japanese bilateral co-efforts, TCMESO has become the top national training base and the international influencing base for training all variety of the students studying in Japan, and it has been a friendly bridge for the bilateral cultural and educational exchanges and a cradle of friendship between China and Japan.
